We celebrated another birthday last week! I know it might seem like all we do is party around here, but the truth is, birthdays provide a great excuse to test out our crafts products to create decorations, cards, confetti, etc... For Jen, an amazing project manager here at MS, we chose a spring/butterfly theme to help ring in the new season! We decorated our conference room by hanging a butterfly mobile alongside our new pink, green, and orange tissue paper pom-poms.
We created the mobile by punching butterflies out of pretty pink glassine. Then we used some leftover butterflies to make Jen's birthday card...
For lunch, we ordered from one of our favorite vegetarian restaurants, Gobo (Jen's choice of course). Their take-out comes in these adorable boxes...
We made strawberry/blackberry shortcakes topped with homemade whipped cream for dessert...
And to our surprise, we found a teeny, tiny, birthday snail in the strawberries!
Happy Monday!

I love the butterfly mobile! It is so delicate looking. That would be fun in a little girls room or my craft room

Mother's Day and my brother's birthday are only a few days away from each other and I just finished wrapping their presents to ship to Colorado. Before I sealed the box I made a TON of tissue confetti with my Martha Stewart ice cream cone craft punch and placed it on the very top of the packing materials in the box. I hope it gives them a fun surprise when they open it! Its so funny todays post is on punching tissue when I was just doing it this morning!

How fun! That is a great way to celebrate a spring birthday. It must be great to combine work with pleasure so seamlessly!
Well done,

I purchased the butterfly punch and every card I have made from than on has had a few butterflies on it. What a fun touch to dress up a card or scrapbook page. Love that punch.
