I spent last weekend in Northampton visiting my Alma Mater and was really taken with bits of yellow sprouting up all over the campus grounds. Something about a shot of this color - and just a shot, too much can be overwhelming - really excites the eyes.
Susan Dwyer of Up in the Air Somewhere always makes beautiful, simple ceramics, but the punch of yellow on her hand-dipped cups make them pretty impossible to resist.
This new bag from Kate Spade adds just the right splash of color for a wardrobe of gray, like mine. I love the colorful twist on this classic design.
If even a splash is still too much for your eyes, try your ears instead.

I love being inspired by a color, I just might have to make some inspiration boards with color. This bright shade of yellow is so pretty for spring!
