This week we had our second sewing class with Becky Hanson , a Singer Education Manager. Everyone brought in their pre-washed fabric and it was time to start making the final skirt. Everyone was very comfortable on the sewing machines this time. Making the muslin in the first class made cutting and sewing the actual fabric a lot less intimidating. Becky also taught everyone how to shorten a zipper yourself, great to know because it can be difficult to find the right zipper in the right color. Corinne's skirt is looking great, in the last class everyone will create a facing to finish the top of the skirt and learn how to hem it.
