Mother's Day is this Sunday, so there's just enough time to craft something special for the occasion. Below are two of my favorite Mother's Day projects. Click on an image for instructions, or click here for plenty of other handmade ideas.

Does anyone else remember making vases for their Moms in grade school? The ones with macaroni glued on and then spray painted gold? Crafts have come a long way since those days.......the tea cup candles are much more elegant!

Very lovely creations!!! Any mom would loves these, especially if the kids help make them. There are so many presentations one can do with teacups for Mother’s Day. A simple idea for vintage cups that have a chip or that are slightly broken (they can be recycled into gifts), add a small plant or flowers to give to mom. They can even paint them with special messages for mom
