This week we had out last skirt sewing session with Becky Hanson of Singer. Click here to see the first and second classes. Everyone was looking forward to finally have a finished skirt to wear. In this last class Becky showed everyone how to make a facing for the waistband of the skirt as well and how to hem the skirt. Corinne went home with a great a-line skirt and the pattern and skills to make more. Maybe the next class will be a pair of pants and I can join in!

The skirt turned out great! The length is perfect. I love the way it looks with the boots. Do you have plans to make another? If so, what color? What kind of fabric?

Thanks guys!
I think for my next project, I would like to work with a pattern. I really loved that lace patterned skirt from the class - - but chances are I'll end up with another black or gray.
