Ted is the beloved bear of set stylist and cookie decorator extraordinaire Daniele Boglivi Fiori. She has had him for many years and of course is very attached to him.

Ted on vacation in Costa Rica
Then one day Dani and her husband added a new member to their family, a sweet dog, most of the time, by the name of Hope. Unfortunately Hope was feeling a little insecure about being the newest member and took it out on Ted. This was a very difficult situation for Dani cause she loves them both so much.

Hope is trying to not look guilty about Ted's missing nose. Spot looks on and chose to not get involved.
Dani asked if I could take a look at Ted, and maybe help get him fixed up. I was fearing the worst, but fortunately the plastic foundation for Ted's nose was spared, so that made things much easier. Armed with a scrap of leather, a little stuffing, some basic craft tools and a selection of brushes, I was able to revive Ted and hopefully give him many more years (as long as he avoids Hope).
Below is a little gallery of the repair work and his "after" image.

We were so thankful Hosanna thought Ted's injuries we not "beary" threatening. She is so talented that she not only fixed him but also refreshed his entire look! He is good as new- but not too new looking. Ted really enjoyed meeting Hosanna and all the amazing crafters at TV! He promises to stay out of the way of Hope Fiori from now on. Xo

What a sweet story with such a happy ending!
I remember my mother mending my much-loved Grandpa Bear many times during my childhood. She repaired his paws with new felt, restitched his nose, reattached at least one of his eyes, and put on new felt for his tongue. He is still with me more than 30 years later and I hope to have him and the memories attached for many years to come.

Thank you for sharing this inspiring story.
I still cherish my teddy who is going to be 45 this summer.
Some time ago I need to give him new paws and reattach an ear. I wish could give him his voice back. Still, he is cute without it and he has new loving fans in my children.

What a sweet story. I woke up this morning to my favorite pink robe with BIG holes all over it. (CRY!) BAD DOGS! I'm thinking I will use the ruffled edges to make a maine for a lion stuffy. Never made a stuffy before but I just got this rode for Christmas and I can't imagine just throwing it in the trash!

It's great to hear others talked about their beloved stuffed friends. My BFF stuffed friend, who is going on 23, will always be my most prized possession.
