This is Amy, one of the Craft Department's Summer interns...
While CDs feel a little outdated now, I still enjoy making music mixes and burning them on to disks once in a while. I use CDs as a way to share music and to introduce my friends to new artists and songs. Here is a simple CD case for a summer compilation I made recently:

The idea for the case was based on a stripe patterned paper I had laying around, which I used to line the inside.

I mimicked the pattern on the outside using strips of vellum where I listed the songs.

In case you are in need of some Summery music, here are a couple songs I included:
Sabali- Amadou and Mariam
Lisztomania- Phoenix
We Are the People- Empire of the Sun
True Affection- The Blow
Sweet Disposition- The Temper Trap
Lights Out- Santigold
Hello Benjamin- Melpo Mene
For Emma- Bon Iver

You must really love "For Emma", it's on there 2x! It's okay though, earlier driving downtown I listened to it 3 times

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

LOVE the paper! Do you know whose it is? Way to take an inspiration piece and make a project from it!
