With the help of some markers my niece turned a roll of white craft paper into a beautiful tablecloth for her birthday celebration. It was fun to watch her work on this while we assembled the cake and dinner. I was so impressed with how well it turned out that I thought I would share it. You may remember Silke's posts for "Puppy" and "another stuffed character" made from her sons' drawings. Here are a few other projects that use kids drawings to make gifts, magnets, and packaging labels.

What a cute idea! It would be a great party activity for guests, too -- sort of an ongoing "guest book" or memento that they could later display on their wall or door (I have a similar piece of paper which my friends and I created with doodles one evening at a campus coffee house).
