Celebrate : You are invited to Stitch Fest!

Sewing Invite(103.18)As you all seem to be just as excited about Martha Stewart’s Encyclopedia of Sewing and Fabric Crafts as we are, you may be happy to know that we’re having a big 'Sewing Fest' to celebrate the launch of the new book.  The event takes place April 1st at our offices in the Starrett Lehigh building, 601 West 26th Street NYC from 6pm-9pm.  Tickets are $30.00 and with that you receive a copy of the book, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and the experience of the book coming to life in displays, demos and make & takes.  Space is limited.  You can get tickets here.

Hopefully we’ll see you April 1st !

    Unfortunately Kim, the tote bag class is sold out- but there are still tickets available to the Stitch Fest event at this time!

  • I could not get into the site for the sewing contest but here is my entry.

    I love to recycle sentimental garments. I used my daughter’s “First Holy Communion” dress to cut down and make a bridal purse for her to carry on her wedding day.
    Her Baptismal blanket became her ring pillow. The sentiment takes on a new form.
