Man. This makes me wish I lived there.
Any chance you folks might take this show on the road? Meet the people?
It really is nice to see happy folks doing happy work!

Just got home from Stitch Fest...it was fantastic! Only dragging myself away from the new book to post this comment and let you know what a great time I had.

The event was fun and inspiring for my 10 yr old daughter and for me! Martha even came up to us and chatted with my daughter about sewing - so memorable for her (and me)! We really enjoyed all the craft displays. Seeing the illustrated steps of the different crafts and watching the demonstrations by the Martha Stewart staffers made us feel like we could do the projects ourselves. We are excited to try all the crafts in the book! Friends and family will be receiving lots of lovely gifts! The book is beautiful, by the way.

Whew! It was a whirlwind trip, with the Amtrak trains being cancelled and all, but I'm glad I made it! Congratulations on such a stylish and fun event and on the book! It's gorgeous! Also, thank you, Kirsten and Marcie, for giving me pincusion materials to take home! It was great meeting you and talking with you. I hope there will be another event and that I'll see you there!
p.s. Do you have instructions for making the bag with the running stitch circles on page 121?

Had a great time at the event. LOVED the idea in the book about creating a better cutting table by adding adhesive metal ruler tape to the edge of the table. My only problem is, I can't seem to find it! Home Depot & Michaels were a no-go and what I'm finding on line seems to be paper tape (not metal) and they warn that it can stretch so you have to be careful applying it along a long edge. Any suggestions of where to find the right stuff!?
