I think it's safe to say that most of us have encountered Eric Carle's illustrations at some point, and if you're anything like me, that name even evokes a bit of nostalgia. If the name doesn't ring a bell, take a look at this guy below-
Carle's distinctive collage illustrations (made with hand painted papers) can be found in over 70 books! And did you know that there's an Eric Carle Museum??
And as if that's not enough- Canson, makers of fine art papers and supplies, along with Mr. Carle, have just come out with an Eco- Friendly line of kid's art pads! They range from pocket-size sketchpads to extra large tracing tablets. Here are some of the little sketch pads- so cute!
