My mum is a secretary, so as a kid I spent lots of time under her desk playing with office supplies. They always seemed so magical to me.
My favourite activities were making doubles with carbon copy paper, squeezing the label maker with all my might to make PROPERTY OF STEPHANIE HUNG stickers, and punching feverishly at the buttons of an accounting calculator hoping to make the next line print red (negative numbers, as I found out later in life, and not so desirable anymore).
Nowadays, my office equipment may be more advanced but I am still very fond of their original counterparts. Which is why I had to have one of these:

Designed in Vancouver, handmade from maple wood, and filled with recycled paper cards; can't you just feel the love that went into making it? I used to always worry about losing my contacts if my phone or computer were to one day stop working, but no longer. I finally have a safe place for all the numbers and sources that I am lucky enough to know.

Very nice! I'm (a tad too) fond of Back to School sales. Nothing smells as nice as a new box of crayons. I'm guilty of hoarding pencils, glue and notebooks.

I just love the way it was wrapped in the box -- such a nice touch!
