Celebrate : Wedding Bouquet Poll

Posted by

One of my closest friends decided somewhat spontaneously to get married two weeks ago.  She asked that I help with flowers so I made her bouquet and his boutonniere.  Flowers are not necessarily my forte but I was really happy to be a part of their celebration.  I had a difficult time deciding what type of bouquet to make for Kristen - so I made her two to choose from.  Let me know which is your favorite and I will let you know which she chose in the end.

  • I prefer the first bouquet, it is prettier and fuller and more special for that special day, though the second bouquet is still pretty, just simpler, perhaps more common.... depends on what your going for... a chic wedding or a more casual one... gerber daisies are my favourite and I had a gerber daisy bouquet for my wedding that my mom @ made! thanks for asking our opinion!

  • Beautiful! I would like the one with just the daisies better if there was more of them and if their heads were closer together. But both are beautiful!

It would be great if you could show up your technique for wrapping the base of the bouquet. :o )

  • They are both pretty and I voted for the plain daisies, but I would have to say that it really depended on the dress.
If it were a plain dress Iw ould go for the Daisy/ Euca mix, however as most dresses are elaborate in themselves, I think it would be much prettier for the plain daisies so as to not detract from the dress, rather... add to it. :)

  • The plain daisies need a better ribbon. The satin is too fancy for such a casual and fun bouquet. With a silk grois-grain or a vintage print they will become festive and much more appealing.

  • I chose the simpler Daisy bouquet given that this was a spontaneous wedding/decision but I agree with the others that the dress choice would also influence the decision.

  • Both are simple and perfect for a casual summer wedding but I prefer the one with mixed flowers. Looks like it had some thought to it.

  • I like both but the one fuller bouquet with all of the greenery looks better to me. Great work, btw!
