Very lovely job and a nice tutorial.

I hate it when people hijack someone else's post to mention their own project but . . . if someone is interested in a project using vintage pins that does not damage the pins, I recently created a similar necklace. There is a tutorial here:

This makes me think of those framed Christmas trees made out of old jewelry... simultaneously ridiculous and lovely... I'm tempted to make one every year but then I chicken out.
