the Seashore Scrapbook tutorial is so perfect because my family and i just came back from a beach vacation (nag's head, NC). of course, we left the beach with more stuff than we came with! there are seashells, glass and rocks that all have their place in the creative scrapbook that you came up with. thanks for the inspiration and for this lovely giveaway!

My favorite memory keeping idea is the Vacation Souvenir Box, it is what brought me to the website. I had saw it on a show and I wanted to learn more about the project. I had found it on the website and it led me to other craft ideas which I use today.

I have a bit of a problem when it comes to using labels in my crafting - scrapbooking, card-making, gift wrapping, organizing...you name it. There are so many options out there depending upon your style and usage - not to mention, labels are a fast and easy way to dress up any scrapbook page while writing down your memories.

I love this giveaway! I love the Family Tree scrapbooking idea. I found it especially important for someone who wants to share the family tree with the next generations and especially with my super big family! =)
I have recently picked up scrapbooking (first attempt at being creative) as a way to cherish and share memories with my family and friends. My father had passed a couple months ago from lung cancer, and I was finally able to see his extended famiy (whom I didn't know existed) and to share memories together. And, because our family was so big, it was difficult to get everyone's name in order. So, the family tree came to mind. Why not make a nice family tree to show who's who and who's related to who. =)

Any scrapbook should include maps-here's my favorite Martha Idea http://www.marthastewart.com/goodthings/map-scrapbooks?backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/family-vacation-memory-crafts#slide_1. Just got my granddaughter interested in scrap booking-I would share my winnings with her!

You mean I have to pick one? I love the vacation memory shadow boxes http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.3a0656639de62ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=629fd0f19132f010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&vgnextfmt=default&backto=true&backtourl=%2Fphotogallery%2Fvacation-crafts#slide_1
Sometimes you can't fit everything into a scrapbook and these boxes make for very unique wall art!

I love the traditional scrapbook but am crazy about those jars! What a sweet idea to really capture your vacation. I also want to make that recipe box, I have a bunch of recipes floating around that deserve a sweet place.

Love the idea of using jars to hold the treasures of a trip taken! A fabulous excuse to keep collecting all of those old glass jars!

I love the Balle jars with all the goodies inside! My family has been collecting shells and sand from every trip to the beach for the last 13 years. Everytime I get out the jars in the summer to decorate our mantle we remember what a fun time we had at the beach that year!
Thanks,
Gretchen

The crafts dept has shown me so many great ways to keep the memories lasting for ever that is so hard to choose 1 great one. Your ideas have inspired me to expand on my own imagination. So if I had to choose it would be for the Holiday Card Scrapbook http://www.marthastewart.com/article/holiday-card-scrapbook?backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/scrapbook-ideas-and-albums#slide_33.

I too love the Vacation Memory Jar! I keep glass jars from pasta sauces and the like, take the labels off in hot water, and reuse them to hold stamps, pens, and all sorts of little things. The jar of memories would be a good reminder of the relaxing times in life.

I love the memory jar. It's a unique way to collect your vacation memories and also be wall decor at the same time. It's a wonderful conversation starter for any visitors who are curious of the jar's contents. I'm inspired to make one today. I have several large jars in my garage waiting to be turned into a project!

This is my favorite. I have jars that I save for projects (plus I like to recycle if I can) and this is perfect. I'm gonna make one for each of my kids. I'll put a summer camp picture in the back and I will add little things about their summer break. ie something from their birthday parties, ticket stubs from the theater and zoo and books they read and things they tried new, people we spent time with. This is a great idea for every year and we can start next summer first thing and they can add what ever they like as they go along.
Thank you for sharing!

I love all the Martha Stewart embellishments and paper jewelry. I purchase them at Michael's. I made a "Remember" Photo Scrap book for my Aunt when she entered a nearby Nursing home. Anyone who visited with her was able to engage with her using the book. It really helped to jog her memory for friends and family and it was beautiful too!!

I just love the way you preserved memories of the beach and of Paris in the Mason Jars. I do have several saved and I will be sure to use this idea.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Karen
