Today I am sharing photos I took while taping the segments with Brendan Fraser. An amazing set was built in one of Martha's buildings on her Bedford property. A small art team lead by Aaron Caramanis created the fantastic set that had all kinds of surprising details. An area in a barn was completely transformed into a World of Curiosities that included unexpected movements that were brought to life by the amazing puppetry of Basil Twist and his team. It was a busy day of shooting, but I hope the images help give a sense of the activity and hard work that went into creating the Halloween Special. 17 Vintage animal anatomy charts, beakers filled with mystery fluids, and Martha Stewart Craft items create a spooky lab.

25 Basil Twist led this team of puppeteers in bringing elements of life to the set.
26 All these creepy mask were set up to twist and move during the taping.

29 Brendan Fraser was so excited about the set, he had his son come and visit.
30 Even when told not too, people still touch everything.

39 And this creepy dish is what Martha made with Brendan's head once he was fully cooked.
40 Ok, I kid...it's a "brain" made from shrimp and aspic.

I have been trying every search I can think of to find out when the Halloween Special will re-air. I am getting nowhere. This link was of no help. Hallmark's web site is of no help and my service provider is of no help. I did program my cable recorder to record the special but it did not. There is something about the way my service provider handles the Martha Stewart shows that is baffling me. I can get it to work for all my other shows but I am having no luck trying to record the re-airing of the Halloween Special.
