The Radio City Rockettes "kicked" off (sorry—can't resist!) the holiday season at opening night in the Music Hall last night. What a show!

The spectacular venue was made even more dazzling with the help of the Martha Stewart Crafts Merchandise team, who had been working hard for more than a month on some incredible displays, including the new Macy's Martha Stewart Ornament collection. All the hard work paid off. Take a look at the photos below for some great decorations, and a couple highlights of the show.
1 This tree is so big! Perfect for the grand interior of Radio City Music Hall.

3 Down in the lower lobby: The space has been transformed into a winter wonderland.

5 Look at the fun topper on this tree—it reminds me of fireworks.
6 The peppermint tree skirts were all handmade, then trimmed with tinsel. I like the column—transformed into a peppermint stick!
7 This Santa is so sweet! All of the ornaments have glitter accents.
8
9 Love the snowman too—very classic.

11 These snowflake decals were stuck right on the mirrored walls.

15 The skill and control of the dancers is incredible!
16 How'd they get that bus on stage?

I love your photos! The peppermint tree skirts are such a cute idea. I think I just might have to try that this year. Hope you enjoyed the show!

The red and white motif is gorgeous! Hope to see New York City X-mas window displays like last year.

I have not seen these ornaments in any of the Macy stores in MA and Boston area. Are these only available in NY locations.

I would love to see you guys do a grouping of shows on how to make different Christmas trees decorated with homemade cookies and candy and handmade decorations. Maybe a contest could make light of your work. Give them a several themes to choose from and have them pick one and submit it. Have them send in their photos of trees they want to enter into the contest. If they win their tree and decorations would be featured on Martha's show.
