The holiday season is in full swing! This week, all of the Living blogs will be featuring a "Living is Giving" theme, with all of our posts relating to holiday giving. Today our post is an "Ask the Crafts Dept." about handmade gift ideas. If you have a question for the Crafts Dept., e-mail us at thecraftsdept@marthastewart.com
Jennifer asks:
"...I am making candles for my coworkers this year for the holidays. I'm interested in knowing what is the best way to add pretty leaves, pinecones, acorns, etc. when pouring the wax."
Great idea, Jennifer! Or how about these pretty alternatives? Have you seen the Holly Candles in December's Living? They are featured in our handmade gifts story—along with two other great gift ideas.
You can find the how-to for these beauties in the December issue of Living.
These Frosty Salted Pillar Candles couldn't be easier.
Or how about some elegant Tree-Shaped Candles?
