On Wednesday of last week, the Crafts Department at Living was invited to sit in the audience during the special Craft Hour on the Martha Stewart Show. It was my first visit to the show, and I was amazed by the amount of effort that goes into ensuring it runs smoothly and successfully.
The set was really festive and beautiful—thanks to a staff that seemed to be bustling around, straightening and fluffing things until seconds before the show started. The show was packed with some really wonderful crafts—like faux birch logs made by Brenna Berger of Design*Sponge, Grapevine wreaths using moss and miniatures, pearl necklaces using wire lace, and throw pillows that were stenciled using freezer paper and Martha Stewart Craft punches. Along with Martha, the TV crafters shared the tools they simply can't live without (and everyone in the audience got to take them home!).
All in all, it was such a treat to be a part of the show! If you missed it (or want to re-live it over and over again), clips from the show can be viewed here.

I can not find the craft furniture you displayed in the show honor to craft day. It has a wrapping station on top and a desk kind of base. Martha said it was in her catalog but cant find which one. I type craft furniture etc and nothing. She said it was on sale and I would like to purchase it. Please direct me to the web page where I can find it.
Thanks

Hi Martha & Crafters! Is this where I am suppose to post a comment for a chance to win all of the crafter's favorite tools from today's show! I absolutely loved todays show! Every morning I look forward to watching & I'm so happy that you are back on television Martha! My favorite tool I can't live without (which is not really a tool) is Staedtler's Triplus Fineliner markers. They come in a 10 or 20 pack set and are very reasonably priced. If you forget to put the cap on, they will not dry out and the best part is that the marker does not bleed through using any kind of paper!
Happy Crafting Everyone!
