It seems there's a surprise around every corner of this office. One of the best things about working here is stumbling upon really beautiful materials and objects that are either unplanned, unused, or waiting to be repurposed. Below are some of my favorite examples of the craft room's little wonders and surprises; pumpkins waiting to be carved (from last October, mind you), piles of unused shells, older projects with a new purpose, and bins of candy waiting to be snatched. You never know what seemingly trifle objects can turn out to be so much more.

I was watching your tip of the day about covering jar lids with fabric. I cover mine with polymer clay canes. They really brighten up my kitchen and craft room.
