Two things about my dad—he loves photos, and he's always looking for his sunglasses. So this Father's Day, I'm making him an extra special photo card, complete with a spare pair of shades.

What a cool dude!
1 I started with a picture taken in a photo booth. It provided the "headshot" format I needed for the card.
2 I enlarged it by 400 percent on the copier.
3 I used spray adhesive to attach card stock to the back.
4 I needed to cut two small rectangles for the eyeglasses to slide through—I eyeballed it, but used a ruler to help.
5 One slot cut...
6 And the other.
7 Pop the glasses on...
8 Happy Father's Day, Dad!
This type of card could be a fun presentation for a bow tie, too. We've got plenty more photo card ideas for you, for any occasion. We'd love to hear what you're doing for Father's Day!

The sunglasses are priceless! You really can’t beat a handmade personalized card for Father’s Day. Elfster’s got some nice suggestions for spending quality time with Dad on their blog, too. (Not as sentimental, but a pretty funny article!) http://bit.ly/kH6hhP
