Make It : Summer Invites!

Posted by

Have you seen the clever No-Melt Pop Invitations in the August issue of Living?

It is my roommate Jen’s birthday (today!), so my sister and I turned to Blake and Athena’s summer invites when attempting to spread the word about her party this weekend. It was really a spur-of-the-moment decision, and these were easy to make and assemble on a single tabletop in our teensy apartment. We got vellum from Staples (you can find it at Office Depot, as well) and surprisingly cheap glassine from New York Central in some of Jen’s favorite colors. We used ice-pop sticks I had laying around and sent them out the next day. In the end, they were a great (albeit last-minute!) project.
