On Friday night I had the privilege and great pleasure to accompany Martha and various guests to the New York Restoration Project's annual "Hulaween" party at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel.
Hosted by none other than the fabulous Bette Midler, this year's benefit was given theĀ theme of "Dia de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead)" and the event raised quite a sum of money to support NYRP, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming open space in underserved communities to create a greener, more sustainable New York City.
The master of ceremonies for the evening was the very funny Judy Gold, a delicious latin-inspired menu was designed and executed by the incomparable Rick Bayliss, Michael Kors made a quick appearance to judge the evening's costume contest and the whole event was topped off with a brilliant performance by Stevie Wonder!
Click through the photo gallery below for a glimpse into a fabulous evening!
2 My costume for the evening was the "Googly-Eyed Footman." Here I covered a simple black mask entirely in googly eyes!
7 The spectacular Robert Diamond (who was later chosen by Michael Kors as the best single costume of the night!)
8 Robert poses with Tilly Grimes (as a Broken China Doll), the costume designer from Martha Stewart's Haunted House, this year's Halloween Special.
27 Kevin Sharkey (as a Member of the Clergy) and Daisy's guest, Jared (as Slash from Guns N' Roses - he lost his little hat!)
