Make It : Pearl Eyeballs

Here's a fun little craft to do before Halloween rolls around—eyeball jewelry!—using inexpensive, faux pearls, a few basic paint colors, and a fine-tip permanent red marker. LOOK through the photo gallery to SEE how it's done:

Secure pearl bead to the top of a skewer.

Slightly water down green paint (I like the Martha Stewart Crafts paint because it adheres to all surfaces permanently). Using a mini foam pouncer, pounce on pearl.

Don't forget the glint in the eye to make it more realistic.

String your eyeballs on embroidery floss or string.

While you're at it, make some eyeball pinheads for your pincushion. You'll giggle (or gasp!) every time you open your sewing kit.
