so the obvious was to make these fingerless mittens
Though I was tempted to just hang the yarn on my wall as a beautiful object. Take a look how these yarns are created. If I was a yarn, I think I'd like to be taken care of like this as well.

(If you'd like to make the mittens: cast on 44 stitches with size US 5 needles, close to continue to knit in the round - knit one row, purl one row 6 times (= garter), then continue in knit stitch for 2 1/2" in the round. For the thumb opening, continue in stockinette (knit one row, purl one row) for 1 1/2" going back and forth. Close the round again and continue for 2" more all knit, until ending in the same garter as in the beginning. Cast off stitches, weave in ends, repeat for second glove and wear them inside out (purl side showing). One Skein was enough for these.)
