The April issue of Living is officially on newsstands! April is one of our favorite times of year here in the Crafts Department, and this issue is full of great ideas to help you welcome warmer weather and get ready for upcoming Passover and Easter.
Be sure to check out a few of our favorite projects:
Blake used our new neon glitter as well as some neon thread to make these amazingly cheerful glittered and thread-wrapped eggs which grace our cover (and blog header above!). Flip to page 54 to learn how to make them.
Throwing a party? Head to page 33 to find our Cupcake Arsenal! We've rounded up the sweetest cupcake accouterments from some of our favorite stores like Layer Cake Shop and Shop Sweet LuLu.
In "Beyond the Basket" on page 134, Jodi makes beautiful Easter Baskets from found objects like berry baskets and coffee filters:
Happy April!

I've looked everywhere for directions for making the Surprise Balls shown on page 113 of the April issue and can't find them. Please help!

Hello Martha - the surprise balls were a product that you can buy - they are sold by unionmadegoods.com - I checked and unfortunately they are sold out.
We have bunny surprise balls on page 134 (how-to on 138) - you can make your own in a similar fashion.
