The other day on one of my many shopping adventures in New York, I discovered the three stores on my list that day were Pearl Paint, Purl Soho and Pearl River. A trifecta! I had to blog about it, of course.
Pearl Paint is a huge craft supply store on Canal and Mercer street in SoHo, New York. It's over seventy (!) years old, and houses slanted floors of any kind of paint, brushes, and general art supplies you could imagine. I strongly recommend paying Pearl Paint a visit - even just to see the character of the unique old building.
Purl SoHo is a beautiful yarn shop on Broome and Mercer Street in SoHo, New York. We've been big fans of the shop and blog for years. Their relatively new shop is spacious and full of a variety of yarns, fabric, embroidery floss and notions.
My third and final destination that day was Pearl River - a quirky (gigantic!) shop deemed the "first Chinese American department store!" They carry a variety of Chinese goods and are located on Broadway and Broome in SoHo, New York.
Be sure to check them out if you live in New York or are planning a trip soon. They are all quite close to one another!
