For an easy way to update last year's tired pieces, all you need is a spray can (and an outside space to do this work). Don't have anything you want to spray, but would still like to add some sparkle into your summer wardrobe !? Try these sources Meg Cohen Design, jeannebeatrice.com, Pearl River, or simply walk into your local Target. I was thrilled to see all the inexpensive hats they have there at the moment. If you'd prefer a more humble approach, try adding a silver tassel or two to you bag.
Or, add the silver accessory to your house instead of your body. I've been doing that in mine (and friends' homes ) for a while now with these baskets. They look pretty great ....and not just in the summer :
And if you're not the silver type, snippets of ribbon (I love these), tied straight into the weave of a basket, or around the handle, is a fun way to add color.
