Summer is the perfect time to think about moving your crafting outdoors. In our July issue we did just that in a basics of block printing story. Instead of using stamps, or classic wood blocks we looked for things that we thought would make interesting prints and patterns. Buttons, house numbers, rope, berry baskets, and toys all became printing tools, some items can be used as they are but items like buttons and house numbers may need to be attached to a piece of wood. So look around your house and grab some paint and give it a try. We would love to know what you find to print with.
