I just spent some time in Cape Cod, Massachusetts and wanted to share with you one of my favorite places. Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill was founded by artist Joyce Johnson in 1971 and is a wonderful community of artists and writers. Offering a range of classes in painting, pottery and poetry, the center is tucked away in the small town of Truro and draws a loyal following of artists and writers each year.
They have quite a distinguished list of faculty members from around the world, including Guy Wolff, a potter near and dear to our hearts. We are big fans of Guy's work - you may recognize his name from his many appearances on the Martha Show.
Guy will be teaching a workshop on slip trailing (or as he puts it, "cake decorating on pots!") at Castle Hill in the coming weeks - below is a video of this technique. See a full list of Castle Hill workshops and classes here.
