Around Town : Demonstrations at American Made

Along with a slew of exciting Make & Give stations at our American Made event in Grand Central Station next week, we're excited to announce the schedule of demonstrations being brought to you by some of our favorite artisans and crafters. On both Wednesday and Thursday there will be a rotating schedule of hour-long demonstrations by artists and organizations like Angela Liguori, Maniac Pumpkin Carvers, Flora Grubb, The Pipe Cleaner Lady, Crystal Hannehan and Emily Thompson. These demonstrations are free and open to the public and a great opportunity to learn something new! See a full schedule of demonstrations below.

on Wednesday, October 17th from 9AM - 10AM artist Crystal Hannehan of Vintage by Crystal (maybe you recognize her from being on the Martha Show!?) will be demonstrating how she makes her amazing Spun Cotton Animals.

on Wednesday, October 17th from 10:30AM - 1:30 PM Maniac Pumpkin Carvers will be showing off their carving skills in a pumpkin demonstration. Chris and Marc, the duo behind the Maniac Pumpkin Carvers, were just featured in our October issue of Living.

on Wednesday, October 17th from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM florist Emily Thompson will be leading a wreath making demonstration.

on Wednesday, October 17th from 3:30 PM -4:30 PM our friends at Flora Grubb will be conducting a demonstration on making terrariums.

on Wednesday, October 17th from 5MP-6PM, join us for cookie decorating with Dani B of Sweet Dani B.

on Wednesday, October 17th from 6:30PM- 7:30 PM Wendy Baner (otherwise known as the Pipe Cleaner Lady!) will be showing us how she makes some of her rose rings out of pipe cleaners.

on Thursday, October 18th from 9:00AM - 10:00AM our very own Tracy Chou will be demonstrating how to use our new line of Glass Paint.

on Thursday, October 18th from 11-11:30 Martha will be demoing some of her favorite MSC Tools.

on Thursday, October 18th from 11-2:00 PM watch Bonasi trimming demo with Garden Editor Stephen Orr and Saeko Oshiro .

on Thursday, October 18th from 12:30- 1:30 PM you can catch a customizing fragrance demonstration with Sue Phillips.

on Thursday, October 18th from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM shopkeeper and artisan Angela Liguori will be leading a bookbinding demonstration. Keep an eye out for more on Angela Liguori in our November issue of Living, on newsstands next week!

on Thursday, October 18th from 3:30- 4:30 watch Food Editorial Director Jen Aaronson make marzipan animals.
