Inspiration Board : Quick Halloween Costumes

Posted by

Halloween is tomorrow! If you don't have a costume yet (very possible if you've been effected by Hurricane Sandy!), we've got you covered with quick costumes that can be made using household or grocery store items (the superhero costumes below get a little help with duct tape, enough said!).

Athena's Quick Superhero Costumes from the October Issue of Living (2011) are entirely no-sew and can even me made with the help of your kids.

A pair of glasses, a few feathers and colored paper are all that's needed to make these quick Owl and Parrot costumes.

Jodi made these princess costumes using plastic tablecloths, doilies and pleated paper placemats. Get the full how-to here.

This space invader costume is made using egg cartons (look closely!) and the helmet is made of white foam cups. Get the full how-to here.

Check out our full gallery of quick costumes here. Don't forget the decorations and the treats... and for those of you who have pumpkins but haven't carved them yet, well teach you how to carve a pumpkin and provide you with easy pumpkin templates to get you ready for tomorrow!
