Inspiration Board : Snowflakes for Sandy Hook

Posted by

In keeping with what Christmas is really about, we'd like to share with you a way you can help the community of Sandy Hook.

When the children of Sandy Hook Elementary go back to school in a new building this January, the National Parent Teacher Association wants them to be greeted by a winter wonderland. To that end, the Connecticut PTSA is collecting unique, handcrafted snowflakes—as many as possible—to decorate the school.

If you have time to make snowflakes with friends and family, please send them to the following address by January 12th:

Connecticut PTSA
60 Connolly Parkway
Building 12, Suite 103 Hamden, CT 06514

Click here for an easy paper snowflake how-to, and here for projects inspired by them.

Merry Christmas!
