Inspiration Board : Our Holiday Gift Guide

Posted by

We had a lot of fun dreaming up gift ideas for this year's Holiday Gift Guide (beginning with our fun gift wrap on page 35 of Living). With Hanukkah swiftly approaching and Christmas just a few weeks away, we hope our gift guide helps you check off a few of the crafty people on your list.

We were delighted to hear that Haptic Lab, producers of beautiful hand-quilted city maps, were coming out with a DIY kit. They're only $38!

Silke discovered these geometric Himmeli ornaments from etsy shop AM Radio- they're great for the holidays but would look beautiful displayed year-long. (Stay tuned for an upcoming guest post on how these amazing ornaments are made!)

Purl Soho is our go-to for well-made, beautiful supplies. We love this embroidery kit and these pretty sets of double pointed rosewood needles:

Blake found the sweet paper angels below from Uncommon Goods. They come as flat sheets, so they are perfect for mailing to friends to fold and display:

We made our own kit by gathering up some of our favorite silk-screening supplies. The products you see below are available here.

Be sure to check out the rest of the gift guide! It's packed with wonderful gift ideas in the world of food, garden and fashion. I personally love the lockets made by Tres Petits Points (available here) and have my eye on the elegant screen-printed tea towels from Bonnie and Neil.
