In our February issue we crafted with some of our favorite photos in order to add a personal touch to valentine gifts, cards and even a little decor. These projects are quite easy to do. We had a great time looking through our photos to find the right ones - I am sure you will as well.
Upgrade some basic stationary with a bright border and seal your card with a photo seal or stamp.

We love these Sharpie poster markers. They come in a great selection of colors and create a bright opaque line even on darker colored stock. Use a ruler to easily edge cards and envelopes.
We made all of our photos black and white before printing so that the older photos and the newer ones all looked nice together. We were really excited by how nicely the photo's printed on Jaquard's inkjet Belgian linen. Seal the image with Scotchgard before sewing.
These inexpensive canvas pouches make a great "canvas" for a favorite photo. They were printed onto Jaquard inkjet cotton and then ironed onto the canvas pouch with Steam a Seam fusible web.
Our very own Jodi Levine made several of the projects from this story on the Today show on Monday, February 4th. Here is the link to the segment. http://video.today.msnbc.msn.com/today/50693385#50693385

This is one of those things that I have been looking at doing for a while, but this is definitely a good reason to get on and do it!
