For the Red Easter story in the April issue of Martha Stewart Living, I had also made these baskets. They didn't make it into the magazine, but I still wanted to share them with you, as they are so easy to make, and are so sweet.
The frame is made by the very clever people at Clover, and comes in many sizes and shapes. It is as simple as a kindergarten craft (yet it comes with great instructions, in case those years are too far behind). I used sisal, but yarn, raffia, even fabric strips might be fun to try as well. Fill them with candy, or - better yet - make some of the beautiful decal eggs. Try some of the other crafts from this story, and your 'Red Easter' is complete. Have fun.
