Around Town : Loopy Mango

Posted by

I recently stumbled upon part knit - part curiosity shop Loopy Mango on Greene Street in SoHo, New York. They carry an eclectic and beautiful selection of handmade (local!) wares, along with beautiful knit blankets and rugs. I was amazed at the scale of their skeins of yarn, which are hand spun by a local farm. Look how gigantic they are! They also offer great classes and all-in-one knitting kits.

I still can't believe how large this yarn is. It's so whimsical!

  • I have been granny/nanny for my baby granddaughter in south FL since Vogue Knitting Live. I am returning to NYC next week & will be coming down to SoHo to see my friends & check out what's new at Loopy! My one question is... is Autumn Elle too young to learn how to knit (2 months old)?
