My friend recently took a trip to NYC with his family so that his 10-year-old daughter Soli could participate in The Sketchbook Project.
The Sketchbook Project is an interactive art project with a community of over 75 000 people worldwide. Anyone can participate by creating a sketchbook that will become part of the library's archive.

If you are in Brooklyn, head over to the Art Library and browse through the shelves of sketchbooks which have all been catalogued by name, location, and theme in the database.

The sketchbooks will also be taken on tour as part of the mobile exhibition, while digitized sketchbooks can be managed and viewed online. Soli created this beautiful sketchbook with her aunt.
So who are the good people behind The Sketchbook Project? None other than Brooklyn-based Art House, a company that organizes global and collaborative art projects. I also love the idea behind their new project, A Million Little Pictures: Analog.
