Around Town : Spring Storefronts

Posted by

With temperatures climbing here in New York (finally!), I'm trilled to accept that Spring is officially here. My walk to work confirms this as I pass flowers in bloom, commuters sipping iced coffee, and storefronts in full-on Spring mode. I love keeping an eye on shop displays as they change with the seasons. It's a treat to see certain brands and boutiques embrace warmer weather in their own unique way.

The Jack Spade window is my favorite hands down. The mannequins modeling their new swim line are being gobbled by foam sharks (made by the one and only Blake!).

Bonpoint draped pom pom garland across their window. how sweet are the little wire drummer boy and girl pictured?

I love the idea of fixing a Pom Pom to the end of these bamboo sticks to create a mallet of sorts.

Marc Jacobs sets the scene for a picnic or day in the park by packing the display window with large cherry blossoms and benches.

This window took a simple approach to make quite an impact: they filled the window with a huge mound of sand.

The window at Anthropologie is decked out with flowers and farmstand bounty. Take a closer look to see they are all made out of waxed tissue paper.
