Inspiration Board : Our new Martha Stewart Crafts Decoupage Line

decoupage bottles

I remember when I used to spend hours cutting apart old magazines and gluing them to make paper collage posters, notebooks, and knick knacks for my school locker.  It was such a fun, easy way to personalize my things which is why I'm excited to introduce our new Martha Stewart Crafts Decoupage line!  It is the first durable, dishwasher-safe, decoupage medium that will take all your decoupage crafts to the next level. Be sure to grab this coupon from Michaels and check it out.

What is so unique about this decoupage glue is how durable and versatile it is.  For the first time, decoupage can not only be permanent and dishwasher safe, but can also dry hard and without any tack. This makes your projects ideal for everyday use. You can apply it on wood, metal, plastic, glass, ceramic, and paper. We even have special machine-washable formulas for fabric surfaces which I've been using to personalize my tote bags.

Our decoupage is available in multiple formulas:

Durable Decoupage in Gloss and Matte:

  • These formulas work on all your hard surfaces, both porous and non porous and is top-shelf dishwasher safe after curing.  This includes wood, metal, glass, ceramic, and plastic. With a nail-hard and completely tack-free finish, this makes it possible for you to craft on furniture, tabletops, trays, glassware; basically anything you might use frequently.  Watch how we use it to embellish these wooden boxes here.

Fabric-to-Fabric Decoupage:

  • This will help you adhere fabric to fabric surfaces while keeping it flexible. It is machine-washable after curing and is a great way to create no-sew crafts (if you are at all like me, this will save you while you are creating last minute crafts). I also like to use it to prevent fraying on the edges of my cut fabric. Watch how to use it here.

Oilcloth Decoupage:

  • This formula will both help you adhere fabric to fabric and create an oilcloth effect when you finish your craft with multiple coats of the finish. Watch a demo here.

Decoupage in glitter, opalescent, antique, and glow-in-the-dark finishes:

  • These formulas have the same performative properties as the Durable Decoupage in Gloss and Matte while giving you a customized finish. These are especially great for any upcoming Halloween crafts you might be planning.
